Saturday, June 18, 2005 Fat Female Film Fest Noon-10:00pm at Clearwater Cinema Cafe.We will present at least three to five independent films or tapes that deal with size acceptance, positive body image, or present fat people in a positive, non-stereotypical way. We will have at least one panel discussion consisting of filmmakers, fat and body image activists, feminist academia, and fat celebrities and personalities.
The deadline for submissions is Friday, March 18, 2005. The Tampa Bays 2005 Fat Female Film Fest Review Board will begin reviewing film submissions on January 1, 2005. If your film is picked to showcase, you will be notified via email by the last week of March 2005.
